JAM’ by Mélo
JAM’ by Me is a glasses configurator, allowing you to create your own customized frame.
Our team members made theirs. Here is Mélo’s, product designer at JAM’!
The price of the frame is 260€, the pair of lenses is 230€.
The front is made of PA 12 and fully 3D printed. The advantages are therefore numerous:
— Additive manufacturing = zero waste
— Print on demand
— Ultra thin
Mélo chose the shape 5 in Green blue.
The bridge and temples are made of 100% recycled & recyclable stainless steel. Mélo chose a brushed ruthenium finition.
The nose pads are made of MEM, a certified bio-compatible material, which is important since it’s in contact with the skin.
The T4 temple tips (chosen in black) are in TF9, which is a comfortable and adjustable material.
The Leica lenses are made in France. Mélo chose the Nautical ones (cat. 2).
The bi-degraded mirror shade of the NAUTICAL lens provides excellent color reproduction in all light conditions. The upper and lower parts of the lens are darker, providing optimal sun protection for near and far vision while preserving clearer intermediate vision.
When in contact with water, the wearer is subjected to strong luminosity and harmful rays (UV, infrared) but also to water projections. The NAUTICAL range combines safety, comfort and nautical pleasure.
